Durable Infrastructure for Solar Energy by Kocaer Steel

Solar energy stands at the heart of the global energy transition with its low carbon emissions, unlimited natural resources, and steadily improving economic feasibility. This transition, aligned with climate targets and energy security goals, continues to accelerate solar investments worldwide. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), solar energy is expected to become one of the leading sources of global electricity generation by 2030. Türkiye also plays a significant role in this transformation thanks to its high solar irradiation levels and rapidly growing installed capacity. However, true sustainability in solar projects is not achieved solely through panels; it depends on the engineering quality of the infrastructure that supports them.

At Kocaer Steel, we develop specialized steel profile solutions for solar projects, enabling safe, durable, and long-lasting infrastructures. Our hot-rolled wide-flange W profiles, offering high load-bearing capacity and geometric stability, enhance the structural safety of solar systems. Thanks to hot-dip galvanized coatings compliant with ASTM A123 and EN ISO 1461 standards, our solutions provide long-term corrosion resistance while creating time and cost advantages through our integrated production and logistics capabilities.

Substantial Progress in CDP Assessments

We continue to strengthen our sustainability and transparency-focused efforts with tangible results on international platforms. Our progress in CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) assessments has become a key indicator of this approach.

  • We upgraded our Water Security score from C to A-, reaching the Leadership Level.
  • We improved our Climate Change score from C to B, achieving the Management Level.

These results confirm our comprehensive and determined approach to effective environmental risk management, efficient water use, and climate change mitigation at an international scale.

We will be taking our place at Solar Maroc 2026

In order to strengthen our presence in the solar energy sector in the North African and Middle Eastern markets, we are participating in the Solar Maroc Fair, which will be held between February 10–12, 2026.

During the fair, we will be showcasing our steel profile solutions, which we have specially developed for solar projects, at our stand number E-31 (Main Hall) to industry professionals. With our robust infrastructure solutions, engineering capabilities, and sustainable production approach, we will continue to contribute to the future of solar energy.
