Sustainability Report

As Kocaer Steel, we are pleased to present our “2024 Sustainability Report,” prepared for the fourth time in compliance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, reflecting our sustainability vision, to our valued stakeholders.

We believe that every interaction we establish with our stakeholders leaves lasting marks in our trust-based relationships. With this belief, we prepared our 2024 Report under the theme “TRACE,” highlighting the enduring effect of every step we take on people, nature, society, and the industry.

Our report, which holistically addresses our strategies focused on environment, people, and innovation, as well as our corporate governance approach, is built on contributing to human life, the balance of nature, and the future of society — with the aim of leaving a meaningful trace.

We continue to work tirelessly to further strengthen the trust we have built with our stakeholders, to establish a pioneering and sustainable business model in our sector, and to leave lasting traces that add value to the future.

As Kocaer Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Kocaer Steel) we are delighted to share our sustainability vision and the efforts we have undertaken in this regard with our valued stakeholders through our 2023 Sustainability Report. Published for the third time in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, our report provides a detailed overview of our strategies and governance approach, focusing on the pillars of environment, people, and innovation. Since our establishment, we have remained committed to operating with an ethical, transparent, traceable, accountable, and responsible management approach.

Our 2023 Sustainability Report comprehensively presents the areas of responsibility, corporate and sustainability strategies, governance practices, and performance of our company. Prepared in alignment with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and GRI standards, our report aims to transparently highlight our innovative practices in the social, environmental, and governance fields.

Covering the activities we carried out between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023, we believe this report will further strengthen the trust bond we share with our stakeholders. Additionally, we aspire to set an exemplary model in sustainability within our sector and to make a significant impact through our efforts in this area.

As we did last year, this year we are also making a donation on behalf of each stakeholder who downloads our report, to support children in leading healthy lives and contributing to their education.
